Each year Four Oaks Salon and Day Spa chooses a local family to shower with Christmas joy. This year our family has a tragic story. Last August the 5 year old son of Jennifer Carter choked on a hot dog. Carlos actually died and doctors brought him back with CPR. He was in a coma for 9 days and suffered an anoxic brain injury due to severe oxygen deprivation. 16 months later mother Jennifer struggles to support a very full household and pay medical bills. Her sister, Angel Beeson, and brother-in-law, Josh Beeson, moved in with Jennifer and her 4 children to help with Carlos’s 24 hour care. Angel and Josh also have an 18 month old daughter.
The ladies at Four Oaks have consulted with Santa and found out what each of the members of the family would like and have set up a gifting tree. If you would like to help out please come visit us at the salon and select the gift tag of your choice off the tree. Your tag will have all of the info you need to choose the perfect gift. You can return the wrapped gift to us by December 22nd and we will make a special delivery to their front door. Thank you for helping us add some cheer to holiday overshadowed with hardship.
